Missionary work

No picture. We are not the typical missionary couple.

We love missionary work! It's amazing how it makes us feel as we go out visiting and meeting with people. We sure enjoy all the wonderful people. Each time we say we are from the church we get several different reactions - oh, no / I know I should come but.... We have never had someone turn us away. Maybe it's because we are not the typical ward missionary couple. We don't dress up - wear a suit or dress. We go just the way we are in more ways than one.

Our visits usually end with some connection of some kind from our lifetime experiences. Recently we meet a man who had lived in Trout Creek and attended the Ibapah reunions for years. Today the lady was the aunt of two of John's kids from East Elementary who's mom died while the boy was in his class. The grandma of one of John's kids from the middle school. Connections with so-and-so is related to......

It's amazing. Each visit is intermingled with testimony of our Heavenly Father, His plan and His love. Love, laughter and leaving the blessing of our Father in Heaven.
