Just a reminder of what it looked like before we moved in - a campfire scene complete with a roasting stick and hanging pot.
When Duncan left for football camp on Monday morning, he had no idea what his parents plans were. When he came back on
Thursday afternoon, he had quite a surprise.
John and I spend many hours painting,
building shelves and making a quilt to complete his new bedroom. No more
campfire mural!
He wanted a black and gold room so we painted the ceiling, door and all the trim in black. And the rest of the room in gold. It looks classy. One of the things he specifically asked for "when we re-do my room" was for his football jerseys to be displayed.
Since he had to return the Canyon View Jr High jersey, he doesn't have that one. The one on the bed is his current one. Another request was to display his helmets. Yes, he owns three Riddell helmets - his Grantsville little league (white), Canyon View Jr. High (red) and Emery High (black).

Duncan, you've got great parents! Enjoy your room! It looks much more inviting that before.
