New theme for the Thomas family:
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct thy paths."
Proverbs 3: 5-6
Things don't always (if ever) go the way you have planned. We thought we knew what we were doing but, apparently, we need to trust a little more, work a little harder, and lean not unto our own understanding.
The possibility of getting our "perfect" Elmo house and property is quickly slipping away. To have a chance, we would have to sell and close on our Grantsville house before September 1.
Selling a home is not an easy task. Though we had a lot of equity, the housing slump has eroded much of it. Therefore, we do not have ENOUGH in our Grantsville house to qualify for another first mortgage even though we would have a renter in our house. It's a crazy thought to even think of having two 30-year mortgages.

Wow, that does make the trusting part hard. Nevertheless, we both know that when we trust things work out for the best. Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need and it is wonderful to watch his miracles take place. Hang in there and we love ya!
